How Do I Add Tests to an Existing Order?

Want to add more tests to an order you've already placed? You can add tests to your existing order before your blood draw — here's how.

Can I Add Tests After Placing My Order?

Yes, you can add tests to an existing order as long as your blood draw hasn't happened yet. Once your blood has been drawn at the lab, tests cannot be added to that order. You would need to place a new order and schedule a new blood draw.

How to Add Tests (Step by Step)

  1. Go to your Visits & Orders page

  2. Find the order you want to add tests to

  3. Click Add Tests

  4. Browse and select the additional tests you'd like

  5. Complete checkout

How Much Does It Cost to Add Tests?

When you add tests to an existing order:

  • You pay only the test price plus a small processing fee (~$4)

  • There is no additional lab draw fee since you're combining tests into the same blood draw appointment

  • This is the most cost-effective way to add tests — much cheaper than placing a separate order

What Happens After I Add Tests?

After adding tests to your order:

  • You will have two order forms to bring to your lab appointment

  • Make sure to bring both forms when you go for your blood draw

  • The lab will process both orders from a single blood draw

Important: If you've already scheduled your appointment, adding tests does not change your appointment time. You'll go to the same appointment with both order forms.

I Already Had My Blood Drawn — Can I Still Add Tests?

Unfortunately, tests cannot be added after your blood draw has been completed. In this case, you would need to:

  1. Place a new order for the additional tests

  2. Schedule a new blood draw appointment

  3. Visit the lab again for the new tests

I'm Being Charged a Full Lab Fee When Adding Tests

If you're seeing a full lab draw fee instead of just the processing fee when adding tests, something may not be right. Please reach out to our support team and we'll sort it out for you.
