Cancel a Lab Test Order and Refund

How can I cancel a lab work booking and what is the refund process?

Need to cancel your Goodlabs order? Here's exactly how to do it, whether you're eligible for a refund, and how long it takes.


How to Cancel an Order

If you haven't had your blood drawn yet, you can cancel for a full refund at any time.

  1. Find the order you want to cancel

  2. Click the 3 dots on the top right of the order panel,

  3. Click Cancel Order

  4. Your refund is initiated automatically.

Most customers are able to cancel their order in less than a minute.


Am I Eligible to Cancel?

It depends on where you are in the process:

Before Your Blood Draw (Yes — Full Refund)

If you haven't had your blood drawn yet, you can cancel for a full refund at any time. Use the self-service cancellation above.

After Your Blood Draw (Generally No)

Once your blood has been drawn and the lab has started processing:

  • Cancellations are generally not available

  • The lab has already incurred costs to process your tests

  • If there are special circumstances, contact our support team to discuss options


How Long Until I Get My Refund?

  • Refunds go back to your original payment method (the card you used at checkout)

  • Most refunds appear within 5–10 business days

  • The exact timing depends on your bank or credit card company


Common Cancellation Scenarios

I want to cancel and reorder with a discount code

Yes, you can do this:

  1. Cancel your current order from the orders page

  2. Place a new order

  3. Apply your discount code at checkout


I was charged but never got my blood drawn

If you placed an order and were charged but never completed the blood draw, you're eligible for a full refund. Cancel from your orders page.


The lab location was closed when I arrived

Contact our support team, we'll process a refund or offer a discount since this was not your fault.


I was deployed / have a medical emergency

Contact our support team and explain your situation. We handle these on a case-by-case basis and will work with you.


I accidentally placed a duplicate order

Cancel the duplicate from your orders page. If both orders were charged, contact support and we'll refund the duplicate.


I Can't Find the Cancel Button

If you don't see a cancel option on your orders page:

  • Make sure you're logged into the correct account

  • Check that you're on the right page: https://goodlabs.com/orders

  • If the order has already been processed by the lab, the cancel option may not be available

  • Contact our support team if you need help
