How to book your appointment, find a lab location, and what to expect during your visit.

After placing your order, you can schedule your lab visit through Goodlabs or directly with a lab provider such as Quest Diagnostics, LabCorp, or BioReference. Some locations allow walk-ins, but appointments are recommended.


  • Booking: Through Goodlabs or directly with the lab

  • Lab partners: Quest Diagnostics, LabCorp, and BioReference

  • Walk-ins: Sometimes allowed, but not guaranteed

  • Payment: Already completed, no payment at the lab


How to Schedule Your Appointment

You have two options:

Book through Goodlabs

  • Follow scheduling instructions after placing your order

  • Choose a location and available time


Book directly with the lab

You can also schedule directly with:

  • Quest Diagnostics β€” Available in most US states

  • LabCorp β€” Available in most US states as an alternative to Quest

  • BioReference β€” Required for customers in New York (Quest and LabCorp are not available directly to consumers in NY)

This is helpful if:

  • You cannot find a convenient time

  • A location does not appear in the system due to API limitations


Choosing a Lab Location

  • You can visit most supported locations within the lab network

  • Availability depends on your location and state regulations

  • Some states may require specific lab partners

If you cannot find a location:

  • Try a different zip code

  • Expand your search radius

  • Book directly with the lab provider


What to Expect at Your Appointment

Before arriving

  • Bring your valid photo ID

  • Have your lab order form/s ready


At check-in

  • Present your valid photo ID and lab order form/s

  • Confirm that your test is prepaid


During your visit

  • Blood draw typically takes 5 to 10 minutes

  • Performed by trained professionals


Important reminders

  • Do not present insurance

  • Do not make any payment at the lab

  • Follow preparation instructions before your visit


Walk-In Appointments

Some locations accept walk-ins, but availability is not guaranteed and wait times may vary.

  • Quest Diagnostics: Many Quest locations accept walk-ins, but wait times can be long. Scheduling an appointment is recommended.

  • LabCorp: Most LabCorp locations accept walk-ins. Appointments are preferred but not always required.

  • BioReference: Appointments are generally required.

Appointments are strongly recommended to avoid delays.


Rescheduling Your Appointment

If you need to change your appointment:

  • Use the scheduling link or platform where you booked

  • Or reschedule directly with the lab provider

There is no penalty for rescheduling.


Common Scheduling Issues

No available time slots

  • Try another location or date

  • Expand your search radius

  • Book directly with the lab


Location not showing

  • Not all locations appear in the system due to API limitations

  • You can still book directly with the lab provider


Unable to schedule or reschedule

Try:

  • Refreshing the page

  • Using a different browser or device

  • Clearing your browser cache


Appointment confirmed but not visible

  • Check your confirmation email

  • Verify booking directly with the lab if needed


Important Notes

  • Your lab order form/s is required for your visit

  • Your order is prepaid, no additional payment is needed

  • Your lab order is typically valid for up to one year

Do I need to schedule an appointment?

Appointments are recommended, but some locations accept walk-ins.


Can I go to any lab location?

You can visit most supported locations, depending on availability and state regulations.


What if I already booked directly with the lab?

That is fine. Just bring your lab order form to your appointment.


Can I reschedule my appointment?

Yes, you can reschedule without penalty.
