Written by Goodlabs Support

If your results are missing specific tests after 16 business days, appear incorrect, or do not match what you ordered, this may be due to lab processing issues, incomplete collections, or data mismatches. You should contact support so your case can be reviewed and resolved.

Missing tests: May not have been performed or are still pending

  • Incorrect results: May require lab review or verification

  • Common causes: Lab processing issues, sample problems, or order mismatches

  • Action: Contact support with your order details

Missing vs Delayed Results

It is important to distinguish:

  • Delayed results: Still within normal processing time

  • Missing results: Specific tests are not appearing after expected timelines

If you are still within 2 to 6 business days, or up to 16 business days for specialized tests, refer to the “Where Are My Results?” article.

This article applies when:

  • A specific test result is missing

  • Your results appear incomplete after the full timeline

  • Something looks incorrect

Common Issues and Causes

A test was not performed

In some cases:

  • The lab may not have completed all requested tests

  • A specific biomarker may not have been processed

This can happen due to:

  • Lab limitations

  • Sample issues

  • Order mismatches

Sample collection issues

Your sample may not have been usable for certain tests due to:

  • Insufficient sample volume

  • Clotting or contamination

  • Handling or labeling issues

In these cases:

  • A re-draw may be required

  • You may be offered a retest

Order mismatch

There may be a mismatch between:

  • The tests you ordered

  • The tests performed by the lab

This may result in:

  • Missing tests

  • Unexpected results

Incorrect or unexpected values

If your results appear unusual:

  • This may be due to natural variation

  • Or may require further verification

Goodlabs cannot interpret results, but issues can be escalated for review if something appears incorrect.

What to Do If You Have Missing or Incorrect Results

If you notice an issue:

Contact support and provide:

  • Your order confirmation number

  • Date of your blood draw

  • The specific test or result in question

  • A brief description of the issue

If possible:

  • Include screenshots or supporting details

Possible Resolutions

Depending on the situation, you may receive:

  • A re-draw at no additional cost

  • A refund for the affected test

  • Clarification or correction of your results

Resolution depends on:

  • Lab findings

  • Order details

  • Processing status

Important Notes

  • Not all missing results are errors. Some may still be processing

  • Results are released in batches, so partial results are normal

  • Lab-related issues must be verified before resolution
